The most important old timer Meeting in Europe offered a special highlight to celebrate the anniversary of the Nürburgring: from 27 to 29 June 2008 the TGP Thoroughbred Grand Prix World Championship was held on the Eifel circuit - one of the most significant historic Formula One race series which in 2004 was awarded World Championship status by the FIA.
